Hey sibs,
My churchy spirits loveeee hanging out with me and I know they're near when they lead me to the Bible. While preparing this message, this title came to me, which is derived from Philippians 3:14.
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
And what is that High Calling? For me and my Black kin, it feels like carrying each other all the way to liberatory life everlasting. Not only in the by and by, but in THIS reality. I am called to the safety, wellness, and preservation of my people. That's the High Calling that fuels me.
